I'm Debbie Allen, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Lucent State Psychiatry. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University and bring 18 years of experience in psychiatric care across several nursing roles.
I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults throughout California through telehealth. My approach begins with listening: understanding what you're experiencing, how it affects your daily life, and what you hope to change. Together, we develop a treatment plan that considers your needs, preferences and goals.
As a mother of two and a working professional, I understand how much people can carry while appearing to have everything together. I created Lucent State Psychiatry to offer a welcoming space where you can speak openly, feel heard, and take an active role in your care.

All appointments are conducted through telehealth. You'll need a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a private space. You must be physically located in California during your appointment.
I evaluate and treat concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and perinatal or postpartum mood and anxiety symptoms.
